Hi there,
My company is considering beginning a search engine optimisation campaign in the new year. We’ve got a list of around ten keywords that we would like to be visible for in Google.
Realistically how long will it take to get my business found in the search engines and start ranking for these words?
Thanks
Mike

Hi Mike,
Thanks for your question. There are a number of factors that could determine your site’s ability to rank and the time taken to achieve this.
Firstly we would need to fully assess your website and determine its current state in relation to search engine friendliness, taking into consideration the site’s architecture, content and linking structures. Then we would look at the age of the site and its history within the Google index. Not forgetting the links pointing to your site and the value that these bring, and also the competitiveness of your industry on the keywords your wish to rank for.
Results can be quite impacting and in some cases rankings can be readily achieved, on the other hand there may be a larger investment in time needed.
I guess what I’m trying to say is that the amount of time correlates to all of points that I’ve mentioned above!
One think to note is that SEO cannot be taken lightly and the only way to seriously begin dominating the results will be to show your website and your SEO campaign the time and investment that it will need.
Why not contact one of the team for an appraisal!
Thanks
Ryan
