Design a 'vital aspect to SEO'

Web design and internet marketing have been cited as vital aspects of search engine optimisation (SEO) marketing.

According to WebProNews, web design plays an important role in the process of encouraging traffic to a site and there are also other business and branding goals for many companies expanding their reach in cyberspace.

But web design cannot operate in a vacuum and must be harnessed in collaboration with other aspects such as internet ranking, the news site said.

Writing for WebProNews, Eric Enge commented: "There is a lot of interaction between the various disciplines that are involved in the website.

"Each of these groups has a duty to educate the others about their concerns and why various factors are important to them."

According to Search Marketing Standard, all aspects of SEO, including pay-per-click, online reputation management and social media optimisation, will grow in 2008 as corporate demand increases.
