Redesigning a company website can increase its success, reports Promotion World.

It explains that the majority of websites are listed by search engines and that by choosing effective keywords, the website will become "more effective in search engines".

Developing the right style, increasing the attractiveness and professionalism of the site and incorporating good graphics will all encourage the sales or use of services of the businesses, it claims.

Companies are also recommended to update websites regularly in order to keep up with competitors and to ensure the site is easy to navigate and understand.

Government statistics show that 61 per cent of households in Britain had access to the internet by 2007, an increase of 36 per cent since 2002.
