Britain could soon be able to buy items online through Microsoft's Live Search cashback scheme, the firm has announced.
Brad Goldberg, general manager of the Live Search Business Unit, told Live News that the scheme - which offers cashback to customers purchasing items through the engine - is ready to be rolled out in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
"As discussed this week, we have plans to scale our search efforts in EMEA. Cashback is a core part of our strategy and we'll look at that as part of our overall plans," Mr Goldberg reportedly said.
Live Search cashback was originally revealed at the Advance 08 conference in Redmond, following which it was tested in the US for a month.
Meanwhile, Microsoft founder Bill Gates is to end his full-time job with the company on June 27th, with his role changing from executive director to non-executive director.
