Twitter has recently released a new version of their mobile website. Previously http//m.twitter.com, Twitter has now released a much improved http://mobile.twitter.com which looks much more visually impressive.
The new mobile website works best with phones that support webkit browsers such as the iphone and Android. The main reason for the revamp of mobile Twitter is so that the website looks and feels like Twitter, which the ‘m’ website did not do.
Eventually, the current http://m.twitter.com will be phased out and replaced with what is currently the preview version. To find out more, @leland has posted a new blog post over at the Twitter Blog.
