Excellent article, I thought I just had a difficult customer recently who said the very same thing to me.

I thought he was just one of those that had a little bit of knowledge and takes it completely out of context because he doesn’t understand it entirely.

I now see a lot of so called SEOs saying the very same thing – it’s amazing how bad some SEOs show themselves to be one something like this pops up. “Ah they removed it from their guidelines, it’s not important anymore – we’ll ditch that strategy so, it causes me so much headaches…”

For me it’s a clear indication that they don’t really understand how important so key aspects of web site creation can be to creating a successful website.
