Engagement, Reviews, Tools

FixMyTransport is a website, in beta, that aims to flag up issues on our public transport system by way of crowdsourcing.

Users of the site can report problems or issues and upload them to the site. You can proactively gather support by sharing via Facebook, email and Twitter. However, those that spot that you’re highlighting the same problem as they have can ‘support,’ and also follow its progress. (more…)

Your competitors have no doubt gone to great lengths to think of new keywords that they can use in their search advertising campaigns.  Imagine if you could see their keyword list?  SpyFu does exactly this. (more…)

Reviews, Tools, Web Development

In the latest round of HTML5/CSS3 versus Flash, Adobe has released a preview of their new design tool Edge. It allows users to create animations using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript without knowing how to write the code.

It is currently available for a free 152 day trial, as they are requesting developers feedback, and it is a little buggy at times (I’ve crashed it three times this morning). It comes with basic drawing and text tools and has a timeline editor so you can animate shapes, positions, opacity, etc. (more…)
