I always used to find HTML intimidating with its brackets, abbreviations and whatnots all over the place. Friday, November 18th, 2011On my recent trip to America, I noticed a man in front of me in the queue using his iPhone to check in for his flight. I didn’t think much of it at the time until I saw him pull his phone out again at the gate. As I moved closer, without appearing like a stalker, I was face to face with a Quick Response code displayed proudly on the screen that allowed the traveller to check in via mobile. This made me feel like I was living in the Stone Age as I do not have a compatible phone that permits me to download such an app. While I may be part of the small minority who is behind in the mobile world, the QR code is certainly not a new advancement.
